Greetings! It has been quite a while since I have written a newsletter. I hope this finds you well and thriving in your personal and professional endeavors. My lapse was due to focusing my creative energy on the company. It was a hockey stick of a year (a good thing) with a solid few bumps and setbacks (not as good, but great learning came from those moments). As we approach the close of 2023, I reflect on a year filled with remarkable achievements, impactful learning experiences, and the unwavering support of my incredible community. I wanted to share some key milestones for All Terrain and myself this year.

1.) Recognition: All Terrain, clients and partners are receiving significant recognition for the Cheez-It Stop Campaign. So far, we have won an award in the Best Shareable Event Environment category for the Experience Design & Technology Awards by Event Marketer as well as two silver Davey Awards in the General-Events & Livestream and Integrated Campaign-Promotional & Branding Categories. All Terrain was included in the 2023 IT List with Event Marketer, listing us as a Top 100 Agency in the United States.

2.) 25th Anniversary Celebration: All Terrain marked a significant milestone, commemorating 25 years of crafting brand experiences, which is a loooong time to be in our industry. It’s a testament to our enduring dedication to innovation, creativity, and delivering excellence to our clients. On the actual anniversary day I woke up thinking…WOW, I have been in this (leading this) industry for more than half of my life! The world and the industry keep evolving, and we go with it. I am grateful for the diversity that comes with the type of work we do and the incredible people we collaborate with daily. I couldn’t have created a more fitting role for myself. 2024 is about focusing on how I evolve myself and the company.

3.) Community Commitment: We have done some impactful work with our client Aetna, focusing on communities in dire need. Together, we have provided dozens of Free Laundry Days at laundromats around the state, built community farms and gardens, provided wellness checks and vaccinations, and hosted baby showers for expectant mothers.

Beyond business, we’ve continued our commitment to making a positive impact. I co-chaired one of my favorite events of the year, the PAWS Fur Ball, with a dear friend and helped raise $1.5 million for the charity. On top of this, All Terrain made a significant donation in the name of our clients for this year’s holiday gift. 2024 will find us exploring even more ways to give back as a team and a company.

4. Thought Leadership: I embarked on a transformative journey with Pinnacle Global Network and was privileged to share insights on several CMO podcasts. These experiences have enriched me personally and allowed All Terrain to contribute to the broader discourse on marketing and innovation. In 2024, I am doubling down on a book project I have in the works with my Mom and writing more consistently.

As we turn the page to the next year, I want to express my deep appreciation for your collaboration, trust, and enthusiasm. Your role in our journey is invaluable, and I’m excited about the possibilities. Enclosed with this newsletter is a gift for you. It is our end-of-year fire ritual — a symbolic gesture to bid farewell to the past, embrace the present, and welcome the future.
